I forgot to mention...

Last year at SOAR, I bought a miniSpinner.
I didn't mean to.
I never wanted to.
But my wheel's flyer breaking in half left me dazed and confused. I looked around at my friend's who were with me and 3 out of the 4 had miniSpinners. I felt curious.
I went to the Hansen miniSpinner booth with my friend who needed a little something there and I looked at the large variety of miniSpinners and thought they were cute. I sat down. I spun some yarn. I told my friend to look away. I bought one. The End.

(Actually after that I wandered around dazed and shocked for several hours but I soon recovered.)

There she is. A little electric spinning wheel. She is made from Tiger wood and she is rather fun. She will be going to Texas with me this year. She is almost as excited as I am. The battery is for portability and I bought and am perfectly happy with the brand called Tekkeon.

The fiber that you see there on the miniSpinner is the SOAR colorway as decided by Abstract Fibers. It spun itself into 520 yards of a 3 ply light fingering.

It's very soft and drapey and I think it wants to be a Stephen West shawl. It needs geometry.
Maybe Pogona?

Proof of life. Proof of spinning. Proof of the power of the herd, I mean friends.

For clarification, there was no enabling going on! The purchase decision was done in a vacuum.

Well now the mystery is solved -- I was wondering when I saw you post in the miniSpinner group! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it.
